AGM 2021

A date is still to be set for the 2021 Annual General Meeting as we are currently busy with our Youth Production preparations for November.  We are hoping to hold the AGM in person this year and we will be emailing members and friends shortly with a date and confirmed details.  Thank you for your patience while we make the arrangements.

100 Years Old!!

Our Society is now officially 100!!!  Cameron Robertson, local photographer and researcher, has produced a commemorative book that is available to to purchase from Grieves Stationers, Church St, Berwick upon Tweed or by contacting us directly.  The book is full of photographs from shows across the 100 years (1920-2020) and is a lovely souvenir for anyone who has been involved with the Society.

Looking Ahead …

SISTER ACT 20-23 April 2022 at The Maltings

We are excited about our next production, Sister Act, which will now be performed at The Maltings between 20-23 April 2022.  A little bit longer than anticipated to wait for this show, but we are sure that you won’t be disappointed!  Rehearsals will begin again in November 2021.

Locally Produced Shows

Locally Produced Shows

All our main shows are performed locally at The Maltings Theatre.  In the last twenty years, we have performed many stage favourites, our most recent productions being, The Wizard of Oz, 9 to 5, Oliver!, Made in Dagenham and The Sound of Music.  In the last 2 years we have started a popular youth section who have performed Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Fame.  We are members of the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) and won 6 awards in 2019 including best production for ‘The Sound of Music’ and best youth production for ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’.
