100 Years Old!!

Our Society is officially 100 this year!!!  Berwick Operatic Society was formed in 1920 performing our first production HMS Pinafore in April 1921.  To mark this momentous achievement we are planning a series of events through the year.
Celebrations will kick off with a “100th Birthday Party” at The Black and Gold on Saturday 13th June. All members, friends and supporters (over 18) are welcome.  The cost of tickets will be £20 which will include an arrival drink, a 3 course meal and entertainment.  Numbers will be limited so please contact us to reserve your place.
On 22nd & 23rd August there will be an exhibition of ‘100 years of Berwick Opera’ in The Henry Travers Studio at The Maltings.  This will include photographs and memorabilia from the past 100 years some of which will be included in a commemorative book that will be available to buy.  A lovely souvenir for anyone involved with the Society over the years.
