You may have heard that our spring show next year will be ‘Made in Dagenham’ a musical based on the 2010 film of the same name, which in turn was based on the real events of the Ford sewing machinists strike of 1968. Directed by Robert Flynn, and brought to life on The Maltings stage with the help of his team, Mike Hardy – Musical Director and Angela Winson – Choreographer, we are hoping to attract lots of interest from cast members both old and new. The production will run for 5 performances between 25th – 28th April 2018 7.30 pm including a Saturday matinee at 2.30 pm. A wide range of singing and non-singing roles will be available and all are welcome to audition for parts or join our chorus. Junior members will need to be aged 14+ by the time of the production. which is 25-28 April). Our first rehearsal will be on Wednesday 8th November 7 pm at East Ord Hall and if you are interested in auditioning it is vital that you come along on 8th! Spread the word as with this musical it really is ‘the more the merrier!’
